A PLACE LIKE FEW IN THE WORLD
Given its unique characteristics, Domos de la Estancia Fly Fishing Lodge offers a variety of fishing situations like very few others can. From fine fishing in the spring creek and beaver dams, where we can tempt the trout with a variety of flies that range from small nymphs to large attractors, passing through the lakes, mainly the Yakush and the Chepelmut.
The fishing intensity is very good. Either in the spring creek, rivers or lakes, the bites occur frequently.
In November and December, the rivers in the heart of the Island have a lot of activity and in the lakes we must go further in depth, but in the summer and during the Fuegian sunset we can nd them eating on the surface, offering up a wonderful spectacle.
On the other hand, shing in the Rio Grande during the first months of the season allows us to catch the new schools that enter the river.
Unforgettable experiences
Walking through the forest to be surprised by the sea to see a colony of sea lions, or learn about the history of cattle walking through an old ranch, are some of the experiences that we invite you to live.
Spectacular long days
The days during the season in these latitudes are very long, so sometimes the shing day ends earlier, if that’s your wish. Replenish your energy at the lodge for the coming day by enjoying the good wine and gastronomy prepared by our chef, or sharing anecdotes around the stove.
Transfer service
At Domos de la Estancia Fly Fishing Lodge all transfers are done with our 4WD vehicles, helicopter and 4 wheelers to reach the most inhospitable and attractive places in this beautiful and wild Tierra del Fuego.
The Lodge has a capacity to accommodate up to a maximum of 9 fishermen. The premium Suite Dome rooms are triple and have an en-suite bathroom and a wood-fired hot water tub, with an excellent view of the Estancia valley and everything you need for a good rest after a long day’s fishing.
Luxury Domes Glamping Tents
Because of its design and close contact with nature, they contribute to the harmony of the surroundings, yet providing the perfect combination to relax and recover.
Double or triple domes
Queen size bed, high-density-thread bedding and down comforter. Extra single bed available. Hospitality tray with kettle, coffee, and tea.
Private bathroom
The calm, rustic, and spacious en suite bathroom features a shower, 24h hot water, and high quality bath amenities.
Heat
Nothing like the coziness and warmth of a modern wood stove. We offer a high energy output, while making sure of the efficiency of wood use.
Cuisine
First class gastronomy. Each day you will be surprised by the chef ‘s creations, abundant and delicious dishes, always accompanied by tasty wines. Breakfast is either continental or American, ideal for starting the day with plenty of energy; you are going to need it! The dining room is warm, with no shortage of excellent whiskeys to end your day accompanied with a good tale, naturally.
Breakfast
Begin the day with a load of energy! In our continental breakfast, we proudly serve our own breads and jams, cooked by us with organic and local products.
Lunch and Dinner
As part of the menu, we offer the typical ‘asado’: Argentina’s delicious grilled meats, including the famous lamb from the Island, and prepared according to our family tradition.
We’ll make sure to have the right wines for each occasion!
Our vegetable garden provides us with fresh organic products for our recipes.

We like to grow it ourselves! Most of the vegetables in the menu come from our garden. Nothing like the flavour of a freshly cut lettuce!
